Mission: “The Commission shall coordinate the efforts and encourage the involvement of the citizens of Fairfield in a community-based beautification effort.”
History: The Commission was established in 2001 by the City of Fairfield. Commission Members are appointed by the Mayor.
The commission organizes upkeep of beautification projects in the city of Fairfield. Projects will be seasonal during the Spring and Fall of each year.
Last year 100 volunteers helped nine deserving homeowners spruce up exteriors and landscaping, make general repairs, and even prep and paint an entire house for the “Adopt A Home” project.
No small task for two full days of work!
