We provide ongoing support for a multitude of local Non-Profits, including these (click a name to show/hide details):
- First Fridays Art Walk
Dozens of our volunteers make sure this award winning event is a continued success each month.
- Fairfield Beautification
Volunteers maintain the 65 mini-gardens nodes that bring the Fairfield square to life!
- Women’s Crisis Center
Volunteers collected and delivered hundreds of personal care and nonperishable items for the women and their children. $2000 worth!
- Noah’s Ark
Volunteers – many volunteers – work directly with dogs to give them walks and much needed one-on-one time with their two legged friends.
- Fairfield Arts and Convention Center
Assists in locating volunteers who meet and greet and usher patrons to their seats during scheduled performances all year long. Several volunteers installed the donor brick garden the the north side of the main entryway!
- Fairfield Entrepreneurs Assoc.
The Fairfield Volunteer Center co-sponsored the annual Fairfield Entrepreneurs Association Banquet, announcing Fairfield’s “Volunteer of the Year” award.
- Heavenly Pet Sanctuary
Volunteers are called upon to help with pet adoption events, pet adoption follow-up calls, and cat and dog care for people who want to make a deeper commitment to the health and well being of resident animals.
- Fairfield Public Library
Many volunteer hours are dedicated to the library each month to help keep things running in optimum order.
- Fairfield Parks and Recreation
Volunteers do weeding and help with basic park and common areas maintenance during the year.
- Friends of the Library
The volunteer center provides several volunteers to help with the multimedia book sales taking place at the public library in early March, June, September and December that make a critical difference in funding projects not otherwise covered by the libraries annual budget.
- SEVA
Volunteers help cook homemade meals for those in need, and assist in creating art-based educational projects for local resident kids and their parents to participate in together.
- Stewards of the Park
A group of volunteers each year provide help in protecting and preserving the natural areas owned by the City of Fairfield.
- Fairfield Little League
Volunteers help to provide concessions, umpires, and grounds upkeep during ball season from April – July of each year.
- Jonas Magram Annual Children’s Benefit Christmas Concert
Volunteers assist in ushering patrons to their seats, taking donations and provide concessions at intermission.

Our Corporate Volunteer Program provides a rewarding experience for volunteers to contribute in a team-building atmosphere and has a significant impact on the quality of life in Fairfield. One afternoon on a team project can make a big difference to our community.
